Seems that the issue was the VPN, but still the requirejs on the page that I wanted to load was causing a timeout so I ended up using WebClient instead of WebDriver which allows to ignore js exceptions.

JavaScript code is executed just like in normal browsers when the page loads or when an handler is triggered. Improving the question-asking experience. I run 22.11 mvn clean install and have no issues with the libraries. Here is my pom. All of these can be found in the lib directory of the HtmlUnit installation.

I have never used selenium before so maybe I'm missing some pre configuration? It is specifically a way to simulate a browser for testing purposes and is intended to be used within another testing framework such jat JUnit or TestNG.

Latest release August 24, version 2. Trying a simple code to open a web page using java HtmlUnitDriver. Unicorn Meta Zoo 9: I haven't done any extra steps other than installing maven and adding it to the path as well as the java jdk. It has fairly good JavaScript support which is constantly improving and is able to work even with quite complex AJAX libraries, simulating Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer depending on the configuration used.
